The Gallery
The gallery is a magnificent 2400 square foot space which houses an art gallery and private art collection. (Art is not currently hung but is in storage on site) The north-facing front gallery/studio has a 16 foot opening door to allow hazard-free movement of large sculptures and paintings. It is also large enough to hold a pool table and a thunderbird convertible. A versatile space The center gallery room is a massive party/meeting/studio/exhibit room. It boasts 4 large secure storage closets with 1000 square feet of additional easy access storage overhead. There are exquisite views from 4-6ft light controlled windows & handicapped bathroom facilities. The Griffin has hosted parties and musical events of 250 persons. The rear gallery/studio apartment houses visitors and visiting artists. Its views are spectacular from 3-light controlled French doors which over look Matlacha pass. The sunrise is spectacular everyday from your bed. The apartment includes a handicapped bathroom, shower and laundry facilities. The modern custom kitchen and service bar looks out over the pass through a trellised garden.
